Many Minecraft players, especially newer players are always asking me if there is a good Minecraft guide that can help jump start their knowledge when it comes to trying to navigate through the game of Minecraft. I wanted to make sure I was going to offer some good advise before I responded to any of these requests, so I decided to do some research. I should point out that I had to learn all the ins and outs of Minecraft on my own and from forums and youtube and other such resources which was really kind of a pain in the butt, looking back on it now. So, I knew I wanted to see if I could find a one stop shopping experience that would give the novice and intermediate player the best possible complete players guide for Minecraft. So read the following post to see what I would recommend and why.
Yeah Yeah… I too was getting blitzed with IM’s and texts from friends and even some people that I didn’t even know on facebook. “Dude! You gotta try this Minecraft game!”
Yes, in fact, I did buckle under the peer pressure and get this highly addictive game. Just to shut them up. After I started playing I was quickly addicted. It’s kind of weird, when you think about it, the graphics suck. It doesn’t look like fun from the onset. None the less I tried it and was addicted in no time.
Long story short, I was recruiting some of my real life (not online) friends to play Minecraft. I kept getting the same questions from them. How do I create this? and How do I get past that? I finally said, “look, I’m going to find you a Minecraft guide, so I can get back to playing and less time teaching all you guys the ins and outs of Minecraft.
So after some time searching I found something that suited my purposes for them (my friends)
This Minecraft strategy guide is a great tutorial for:
Learning the basics you need to know about crafting, craft tables, furnaces & smelting
Introducing the player to the various minerals one can find in the game and explain the many differences between them so you can use them to your advantage
Show the player how to use farming to save time scavenging for resources
Teach the player about the dreaded ‘Nether’ world, how to get there and how to get back out again
Introducing the player to passive, neutral and aggressive creatures and how the player can defend yourself and your items against their attacks
Explaining what the different mods, skins and texture packs do and just how to install them in the game
This is pretty much the beginners guide to minecraft. As of right now I can’t really find a guide for advanced players but if I find one, I will be sure to let everyone know, so bookmark this page and check back in after a while and I’ll have new information for you. Thanks for stopping by my site dedicated to helping people who are new to playing Minecraft. I decided to make this site after getting my friends to play Minecraft and having them bombard me with questions about playing the game. I figured there had to be a better way to get them up to speed.
So I went searching for a good Minecraft guide. I managed to find a great guide to get the new player up and running in no time, so I hope this helps you out.
Happy mining!
